Our 4th of July Celebration is a four-day event meant to bring the entire community together to honor the nation's birthday. We offer a rib cook-off, night golf, inflatables in beautiful Elk's Park, and a delicious surf n' turf dinner, just to name a few. On the day itself, watch the Fourth of July fireworks displayed over Kenney Reservoir. This is a unique experience you will not forget!

Cooking will begin no earlier than 8:00am with judging starting at 3:00pm
- Specific turn in times will be given on day of event.
Competitors are responsible for supplying their own cooking equipment, tents, tables, and ribs.
Ribs must be cooked on location by whatever means you choose. Cookers may not dig pits.
You must cook at least 2 racks of baby back ribs, no beef ribs or spareribs. You may cook more if you wish.
The judging will be done by a judging panel that has been preselected. Cash prizes awarded for 1st - 3rd. They will be judging on appearance, tenderness/texture, and taste.

everyone must have an inflatable waiver signed by a parent. You can print one off, fill out ahead of time, and bring it with you, or we will have plenty on the day of the event.

Located by the Playground Pavillion at Elk's Park
All entries must be baked at home from scratch, including the crust.
Bring your pie in a disposable container.
Pies need to be delivered to the park by 11:30am. Judging will take place at 12:00pm.
Fruit and Cream Pie categories. One pie per person per category, please.
Pies need to be covered.
Pies will be judged on taste and originality.
Cash prizes for top 3 in each category.
